The Power of Tea: A Boss Mom Special
Hey, boss moms!
I’m super happy to be working with our sponsor, The Tea Spot, today! They sent me over some samples so I could clue you guys in on how amazing their teas are. I’m an avid tea drinker, and I was incredibly impressed by their flavors and variety.
The Tea Spot
Being a boss mom takes a lot of time and energy to get through the day. From running errands to running a business, the never ending to-do list, well, never ends!
We all could use a little something to get us through the day.
And I don’t know about you, but too much coffee just doesn’t sit well with me. Because of this, I’ve jumped wholeheartedly on the tea bandwagon. And I’m loving it!
Aside from all of the health benefits of drinking tea—it contains antioxidants, boosts the immune system, and helps you lose weight to name a few—it also tastes so much better than coffee!
Well, for the most part. I’ve learned fast that not all tea is created equal. Some are too sweet and some taste like dirt.
The tea selection at The Tea Spot falls into the just right category, though.
So let’s take a look at a few of their different teas!

Boulder Blues
After my toddler alarm clock goes off, the first thing I need is something strong to get me going. I’m somewhat impatient, so it needs to be a quick fix. The Tea Spot’s Boulder Blues green tea is just what I need to wake me up quick and get me ready for the day.
Being a green tea, it’s naturally higher in caffeine. I also love how alert and focused green tea makes me feel. It’s an effect I could never achieve with coffee alone. And to be a boss mom, I need all the focus I can get!
Now let me just tell you how amazing this tea tastes. It has strawberry and rhubarb flavoring, and it is so good! It’s not sweet at all, just flavored. Which is just what I look for in a tea. If I didn’t get jittery from too much caffeine, I would drink this stuff all day. It’s that good.
Meditative Mind
Shortly after lunch my energy plummets. I’m talking cannot-function-I-need-a-nap-now plummet.
The problem, though, is that I can’t drink anything with too much caffeine at this time of day, or I would be up all night. This is when I would usually reach for a Diet Pepsi or something equally unhealthy.
The Tea Spot’s Meditative Mind white tea is a perfect substitute. Since white tea typically has less caffeine than green, I can have a cup and not worry about tossing and turning too much at bedtime.
Also, white tea generally has a greater quantity of antioxidants than green tea. And a super boost of antioxidants will do any body good.
The Tea Spot’s website also boasts that the rosebud and jasmine pearls in the tea help calm the body while still sharpening the mind. Now is that isn’t an ideal state for a boss mom, I don’t know what is!
The Meditative Mind tea doesn’t have the added fruit flavorings that the Boulder Blues has. Instead, it has a mild, smooth taste. It just tastes like a good cup of tea, minus the earthy taste that I really don’t like.
9 PM Stress Buster
The most important thing a boss mom needs to be able to do, though, is wind down after a busy, stressful day. And that’s a lot easier than it sounds.
I’ve always been a bad sleeper, but it’s even worse with everything I have on my mind these days.
Herbal teas have been a lifesaver for me. Most that I’ve come across have been your typical combination of chamomile and different flavors.
The Tea Spot’s 9 PM Stress Buster has one key ingredient, though: valerian root.
I’ve taken valerian root as a supplement to help me sleep off and on for years, and while it works wonders, the smell of it is horrible. I have to hold my breath as soon as I open the bottle!
There is absolutely no trace of this in the tea whatsoever, though. And this is a total game changer for me! I’ve found a way to take valerian root to help me sleep without having to deal with the unbearable odor! And the slight orange flavor is so soothing. It honestly tastes amazing.
This is the most relaxing herbal tea I have ever had. I was completely blown away by this. Like I said, I’ve always been a bad sleeper, and I’ve tried my fair share of teas over the years. This is hands down the best herbal tea I have come across to help wind me down at the end of the day.
What’s your favorite tea? Have you ever tried The Tea Spot before? If you haven’t, I highly suggest you check them out. Everything from the packaging, to the customer service, to the quality of the tea has been phenomenal! They have a true fan in me. I hope they have one in you, too!

I love tea! It’s so great for getting you past snack time without mindlessly munching.
Yes!! It definitely helps with that!! 😄
Tea can keep us Momma’s going! Cheers, lovely lady.
It definitely can!!
People are usually tea or coffee type, and I am both! Can’t decide which one is my favourite.
I drink both as well! Mainly because I can set the coffee the night before! I just like the way I feel after drinking tea more 🤔
I’ve been a fan of tea for a while now. Didn’t like it when I was younger but I love it now. I love black teas and fruity herbal teas.
I didn’t like it as much when I was younger, either!
LOVE tea…iced in summer and hot in the fall and winter…so yummy:)
I’m already dreaming of fall 😅
